 Details

Learn how to fly fish—no fishing license required! This special fishing event, supported by the Recreational Boating & Fishing Foundation (RBFF), Green Top Sporting Goods, the American Sportfishing Association (ASA), U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, the Virginia chapter of American Daughters of Conservation, and Fly Fishers of Virginia (FFV) is all about tying ties and building strong connections.
During the workshop, participants will take part in hands-on breakout sessions covering essential fishing skills, including fly casting practice, knot tying, rigging up, and fishing. This event also provides a welcoming space for women to network, share experiences, and build lasting connections with fellow outdoor enthusiasts.
DWR is dedicated to fostering a community of women who enjoy the outdoors, recognize the importance of conservation and outdoor recreation, and seek opportunities for personal growth, independence, and empowerment.
